Hi, I'm Timo

Hi, I'm Timo

I'm improving access to healthcare for travellers at Nursebeam. I believe that access to quality healthcare should be as simple as a chat over WhatsApp. Instant, and convenient.

Improving whole healthcare system is a joint effort and that's why I'm also at the Board of EIT Health Alumni, covering the Nordics. At EIT Health Alumni we unite over 2000 healthcare innovators within Europe and beyond. Feel free to check our upcoming events or rewind to some previous ones at Alumni Rewind.

Besides my community work at EIT Health, I'm also frequently mentoring at healthtech hackathons, for example, MIT COVID19 series. I'm also the first Estonian to join the WHO (World Health Organization)'s pool of Infodemic Managers.

Besides improving healthcare, I also stand for data-driven sustainability - our ability to make environmentally friendly choices can be instant if using one main KPI - carbon footprint. That's what Carbonific life is about.

My roots are tech-savvy Estonian type, yet you can find me often on the road and discovery trails. My curiosity and passion for travel have taken me to over 90 countries. Through the years I have co-organised, facilitated and run sessions at hundreds of projects across the globe, from New York to Bangkok, Istanbul to Buenos Aires and everything in between.

Feel free to connect - I'm always up for learning something from both old friends and new. Link me up at LinkedIn or WhatsApp/Telegram at +372 5885 9888.
